The Seven Valleys
and the
Four Valleys
Bahá’u’lláh
Translated by Marzieh Gail
In consultation with Ali-Kuli Khan

The Seven Valleys was written in response to questions of Shaykh Muḥyi’d-Dín, the judge of Khaniqín.
The Four Valleys was written at a later date, to Shaykh ‘Abdu’r-Raḥmán, of Karkúk.
Seven Valleys and Four Valleys should be regarded as independent Tablets, as they were revealed to different persons.

Note: A more recent translation of both these Tablets is in the volume Call of the Divine Beloved.
